Chapter 9:
Fame, Fortune, and Films

With the incredible success of Good Will Hunting, Matt gained more attention and publicity that he could have ever imagined.  After years of no one noticing him, Matt was now annoited "Hollywood's Golden Boy" and is now one of  the most sought after actors as well as writers in the business.  

Matt just recently signed a multi-year deal (along with partner Ben Affleck) with Miramax.  He is also working on what seems to be an endless string of movies.  Having recently wrapped up shooting Kevin Smith's Dogma, Matt is supposed to start production on Anthony Minghella's The Talented (Strange) Mr. Ripley soon.  However, if you can't wait that long to see Matt, no problem!  His next movie, Saving Private Ryan, will be out July 24th (starring Tom Hanks).
