Chapter 3:
Most Likely to Have the Most Girlfriends

The years of adolescence and senior high school were a social breeze for Matt. Though Matt was known to be somewhat of a shy and quiet kid in front of teachers, he was quite the Mr. Popularity with classmates.  His sweet personality and handsome looks made him liked by many at Cambridge Rindge and Latin School. Especially the girls.  

As told by one of Matt's friend,  (also Ben's younger brother as well as fellow "Good Will Hunting" cast member) Casey Affleck, "Matt always had girlfriends."  So, even before Matt hit the big screen he was a true heartbreaker.  Seems like it's always been hard for girls to resist that sweet smile of his! =)

It was also made apparent in school that Matt had a nitch for acting. Drama teacher, Gerry Specca, describes Matt as having  had great potential and wonderful talent.
